The Pokemon franchise has been around for 27 years, and it still commands a devoted and invested fan base. The forever-young Ash and the fan-favorite Pikachu’s experiences have taken us all on a roller coaster of epic fights, wins, and twists.
On Friday, the Pokémon Company announced that a new Pokémon animated series will be out soon. The series will feature two entirely new characters, Liko and Roy, and will premiere on April 14, 2023.
Along with the main characters Liko and Roy, you can see the Pokemon “Nyaoha,” “Hogeta,” and “Quassu” from the Nintendo Switch program “Pocket Monster Scarlet Violet” in the PV and teaser visual published at the announcement.
Furthermore, it appears that a new color, “Black Rayquaza” of the legendary Pokemon “Rayquaza” will arrive.
The staff also revealed a new visual for Liko and described her as a girl who possesses a mysterious pendant.
The new narrative will air following the completion of the current season of Pokémon anime, Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, in which Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, and his other Pokémon win the Masters Eight Tournament of the Pokémon World Coronation Series.
