The anime adaptation of Wataru Watari’s light novel series My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU ended in 2020. But if you have also been waiting for the new Oregairu visual novel game, here’s a great piece of news. The upcoming third game would be released with a new animated episode.
On Friday, MAGES. released a new promotional video that previewed a new OVA that will be bundled with the game “Yahari Game Demo Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Kan”. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 27.
In the trailer, the focus is on the main characters Hachiman Hikigaya, Yukino Yukinoshita, and Yui Yuigahama. Other characters like Iroha Isshiki and Komachi Hikigaya also appear and get together at school. In a later scene, Hachiman and Yukino meet with the latter’s mother and sister at a restaurant.
The title of the OVA is “Dakara, Shishunki wa Owarazu ni, Seishun wa Tsuzuiteiku.” (Like I Said, Adolescence Will Not End and Youth Will Continue).
The OVA will adapt some of the bonus novels which were originally bundled with the Blu-ray release of the third season of the anime series My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax. The third Oregairu game is based on the same season and is developed by MAGES.
From the trailer and title, it seems that the episode will tell the story after the joint prom is over and it might help in bringing the Volunteer Service Club back once again.

Written by Wataru Watari and Illustrated by Ponkan8, this story was adapted into a manga thrice. It was picked up for an animated adaptation by Brain’s Base. Still, it was animated by Feel Studio in its second season.
This anime is of the slice of life genre featuring the story of the pragmatic highschooler Hachiman Hikigaya.
He is forced to be a part of a Service Club by his teacher alongside Yukino Yukinoshita and Yui Yuigahama. Despite having wildly different personalities and beliefs, they offer help to those in need.
