My Hero Academia takes the portrayal of the fight between good and evil to the next level.
In a world full of quirks that grants everyone powers, our young protagonist — Izuku Midoriya, tries to become the strongest Hero despite being born with no quirks.
The manga series has been extremely popular and continues to delight fans with new chapters every week. But the series doesn’t just comprise of the manga and anime. It has also inspired four light novels by Anri Yoshi titled ‘School Briefs’.
Weekly Shonen Jump’s official Twitter account announced yesterday that a new School Briefs novel would release on September 4.
The fifth novel in the My Hero Academia: School Briefs series, written by Anri Yoshi and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi will be titled ” Celebration” and feature an original storyline.
Celebration will be available on the Tsutaya shop and start shipping after the September 4 launch.
The last volume released in the School Brief series was the fourth volume revolving around the cultural festival arc that released on May 1, 2019. Viz Media published the English translation of the fourth volume at $10.99.
While there is no news about an English translation for the fifth novel ‘Celebration’, fans can expect a translation by Viz Media, as seen for the previous volumes.
About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 24 tankōbon volumes as of August 2019.
It follows a quirkless boy Izuku Midoriya and how he backed the greatest Hero alive. Midoriya, a boy who has been admiring heroes and their ventures since the day he was born, came into this world without a quirk.
