Ultraman is one of the legendary franchises in Japanese pop culture. The explosive live-action series arrived on Netflix as an anime a few years ago and is now ready to bid farewell to everyone who has been following it.
On Friday, the official website for the Ultraman anime series revealed a promotional video for its third and final season. The trailer features two new characters – Valcure and Mephisto. M.A.O will voice Valcure, while Koji Ishii will voice Mephisto.
The final season of Ultraman will premiere in spring 2023. It is based on the manga written by Eiichi Shimizu and illustrated by Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The nineteenth volume of the manga will arrive on February 3.
Production I.G. and Sola Digital Arts will return to produce the final season, with Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki reprising their roles as the series’ directors. Noboru Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi will also return as music composers.
Ultraman first premiered on Netflix in April 2019 and ran for thirteen episodes. The second season arrived in April 2022 and ran for six episodes.
