Viktor and Alice’s love story has just blossomed, but we all know how dangerous and heartbreaking it can get. The only thing that can keep it alive is Viktor’s quest to get rid of his curse that threatens everything he holds dear.
However, Zain and Walter seem to begin their own stories of love. While it may not seem to be as dangerous, the emotional turmoil might be just the same.
On Saturday, the staff of The Duke of Death and His Maid revealed more details regarding the cast, production team, and theme song artists for the second season. A teaser and visual were also released. The anime is slated for release in July.
In the teaser, Viktor confesses his feelings to Alice, to which she happily reciprocates. Cuff assures Zain that she will look out for him and Zain tries to open up to her. Walter asks Daleth to not hold back her emotions as well.
In the end, Victor expresses his desire to travel with her once the curse is lifted.

Will Victor eventually be liberated from the curse and finally be able to express himself freely? And how would Zain and Walter’s story turn out? That’s something we will only know once the second season comes out. Although I am quite optimistic about how this will go.
About The Duke of Death and His Maid
The Duke of Death and His Maid is a 2017 supernatural manga by Koharu Inoue. The manga was serialized on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website and finished its run in May 2022.
The story revolves around a young duke named Bocchan who was cursed by a witch in his childhood. His curse can kill anything he touches, making him completely isolated from his loved ones to save their lives. He lives in a mansion on his own but is accompanied by his maid and butler.
He has quite the relationship with his maid Alice and the two grow closer throughout the story.
