Call of Duty: Vanguard got its first teaser a few days ago, and now we have a full-fledged cinematic trailer that pitches the game’s World War 2 setting.
Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Vanguard will take place across all fronts of WW2 and showcase its entire expanse.
Fans of the franchise will get to experience the century-defining conflict through different point-of-view characters deployed in North Africa, the Eastern and Western Fronts, and the Pacific.
The trailer, which premiered in Call of Duty: Warzone, gives us a peek at how battles play out on these fronts. We get troops parachuting down from planes which seems to point to the D-Day invasion.
Massive tank battles across the dunes of North Africa are joined by intense dogfights in the Pacific. The trailer also shows us Stalingrad coming under German grip.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is scheduled to drop for PS4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, on Friday, November 5.
The last quarter of 2021 is going to be an exciting time for any first-person shooter enthusiast. Before fans are thrown back into the past with Vanguard, they will travel twenty years into the future with Battlefield 2042, which drops on October 22.
While Vanguard will include a single-player campaign for narrative-loving folks to enjoy, Battlefield 2042 will not have such a mode and focus more on multiplayer.
However, Battlefield 2042 will introduce Battlefield Portal – a new sandbox mode that is the franchise’s most ambitious undertaking to date.
