Raphael Lacoste, the Senior Art Director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, shared some screenshots, now long removed, showing the game’s enchantingly beautiful locales and sceneries.
The screenshots, presumably taken through the game’s photo mode, showed a variety of stills of different places, such as an aurora looking over a Viking settlement, a beautiful church that screamed peace and serenity, along with the protagonist, Eivor, riding up to some kind of stone circle.
The screenshots were so damn pretty that I wish I could visit these places in real life as well.
However, you may have noticed already that I speak of these screenshots as if they were a thing of the past. Well, they are a thing of the past, that past being a few hours ago.
For some reason, Raphael deleted those beautiful screenshots from his Twitter, and they are nowhere to be found as of now. Thankfully, I could preserve one of these screenshots to let you know what I’m talking about. Here it is:
But still, it makes me wonder what went down that caused him to straight-up delete the screenshots. Did it contain some kind of a spoiler for the game’s plot? Maybe a location imperative to the story?
I don’t know about you, but it seems kind of ‘sus’ to me. (Sorry, been playing too much Among Us lately)
From what I could gather, the game’s going to be very pretty and eye-candy for sure.
Considering how the game will be one of the most demanding ones of 2020, with Ubisoft stating that an SSD is necessary to fully experience the game and us needing at least 4 GB of visual memory to play the game at 1080p, 30 FPS, it’s safe to say that it will be one tough cookie to run on many PCs.
Regardless, I’m still excited for when the game finally hits the shelves on November 10, next month!
