In my opinion, 2023 is the year of anime, as so many great shows are being announced and some are returning once again. This year is truly something else, and it’s just the beginning. The year 2023 is building up to be a very excellent year for anime lovers, and if you prefer sci-fi genres with a cyberpunk vibe, you’re in for a real treat.
Fuji TV announced that a new anime series called ‘Metallic Rogue’ will air in January 2024. It will be animated by Bones, and the show’s staff also revealed a teaser promotional video and a visual that depicts the sci-fi feel of the anime.
The futuristic world of the trailer, where cars fly, is introduced to us right away. The soundtrack provides a contrast to the actions that occur immediately after the introduction by playing soft music. We also see great action sequences among two androids fighting with some stunning animation.
Even the key visual for the upcoming series has been unveiled by the staff, as Rouge is depicted in her Android avatar.

Metallic Rouge is an upcoming Japanese original anime television series produced by Bones for the studio’s 25th anniversary.
Metallic Rogue is set in a future where humans and androids coexist. It tells the story of Rogue, an artificial girl, and Naomi, her human companion. They are sent to Mars, where they are entrusted with eliminating nine artificial people who are adverse to the government.
