Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s first major expansion, Wrath of the Druids, is set to arrive across all platforms later this month. The game also recently received Title Update 1.2.1 which brought support for the upcoming DLC. Naturally, this prompted data miners to look for hints of what new content would be arriving for the game later this month.
As per a post on Reddit, the new content will bring armor sets, outfits, boats, tattoos and more to the game. The post also details a new set of weapons that will come to the game in 3 different tiers; this set includes a new sickle, a bow, shields, spears, and swords. Additionally, those looking to give Eivor a makeover will also get to play around with new beards and hairstyles.
The DLC will also be bringing a bunch of new items for settlements. These come in the form of statues from different cultures with the ones currently detailed being of Viking and Celtic heritage.
One look at the comments on the post shows that fans are happy with the new content so far. But surely, this won’t be all of it; what other content arrives with the full update will be interesting to see.
Wrath of the Druids will bring players to Ireland to uncover the secrets of a mysterious ancient cult – the Druids. Throughout their playthrough, players will discover the occult forests and haunted landscapes of Gaelic folklore while gaining influence among regional kings. Furthermore, this won’t be the only expansion arriving for AC Valhalla this year: The Siege of Paris, which will have our Vikings infiltrating Paris, is set to arrive this Summer.
‘Wrath of the Druids’ will be available for purchase as a standalone expansion or as part of the Season Pass from May 13.
