Cannon Busters made its worldwide Netflix debut in 2019, and Season 1 of the anime was immensely successful. No official announcement has been made on the anime’s renewal.
The anime was scheduled to be released in 2014 but got delayed multiple times due to lack of funding and other problems.
After all the effort that went into production, it’s expected that Thomas won’t lose his chance to create a sequel.
