Netflix is now streaming the anime adaptation of Naoki Urasawa’s Monster manga. Netflix had previously added 30 episodes of the series but it is now streaming all 74 episodes. The anime is available in Japanese with a French dub.
The plot of the series, as described by Netflix, is:
“A brilliant Japanese neurosurgeon is drawn into darkness when he tries to solve a series of murders involving a patient whose life he once saved.”

Masayuki Kojima directs the anime at Madhouse Studios. Tatsuhiko Urahata is handling the series composition. Yuji Ikeda was in charge of art direction, and Kitaro Kousaka was the character designer. Kuniaki Haishima composed the music.
The anime first aired in 2004-2005.
The manga ran in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Original magazine between December 1994 and December 2001.
Since its release, the manga has inspired two more novels titled Another Monster written and illustrated by Urasawa, showing Monster from the perspective of an investigative journalist.
