Out of all things in the world, none of us expected a Sex Education manga. But now that it’s actually happening, there’s nothing but curiosity in our minds.
The Netflix show is everything that Asian parents keep their children away from, and to think that it has been adapted into a manga is hilarious. I know it feels unbelievable, but it’s true.
John Tarachine has adapted Netflix’s Sex Education into a manga and launched it in Kadokawa’s Comic Bridge online magazine on July 15, 2022.

The cover features the protagonists Otis, Maeve, and Eric in comic-style art. Otis looks awkward and nervous with his best friend Eric, teasingly smiling beside him. Meanwhile, Maeve has a characteristic cool look that everyone loves.
Coming to the story, there’s not much to tell if you’ve already watched the series. The manga will follow the same plot of Otis running a sex advice service with Maeve without any practical experience whatsoever.
Eric will keep pestering his best friend about how it’s a terrible idea as Maeve is popular for all the wrong things in their school. In between all of this, a wholesome and innocent romance will bloom between Otis and Maeve.
Since this is a manga, I can’t help but imagine how graphic it might get (as if the show wasn’t explicit enough).
Keeping jokes aside, the show has made sex-ed less of a taboo and promoted safe practices among teenagers. It taught people of all ages not to let their insecurities get in the way of living as who they are.
I hope they don’t put anything weird in it just because most readers are weebs.
