A Secret QR Code In Red Notice Takes You To The Film’s Blooper Reel

Netflix has released a blooper reel for its hit action-comedy, Red Notice, and the link to the video was hidden in the film itself. 

The new video clip shows Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot often breaking character while watching Ryan Reynolds mess up his lines. It’s almost strange to believe that Reynolds, despite being a comedic genius, is often the one keeping a straight face while constantly making his co-stars laugh.

Reynolds had previously mentioned that he and Johnson had ruined numerous takes by laughing during intense scenes. This was clearly visible in the blooper reel as Reynolds often cusses out while all three of them laughing and even messing up their lines 3-4 times in a row at times.

If you like hunting for easter eggs in movies and shows, it might’ve not gone past you. But for those who didn’t pay much attention to the smaller details, a QR code in the film on the invite at Valencia at 1:06:44 leads to this blooper reel.

Red Notice was a big gamble for Netflix (what with being their most expensive film to date) that paid off well. Although the streamer hasn’t officially confirmed it, director Rawson Marshall Thurber has been vocal about two more sequels.

The film’s story revolves around Nolan Booth, the second most-wanted art thief in the world, who is recruited by FBI profiler John Hartley to track down Sarah Black/The Bishop), aka the most-wanted art thief, who plans to steal the rare and valuable Cleopatra eggs. 

Although critics have been quite harsh on the film, the star cast might be the sole reason to watch this film. After all, it’s not every day you get a DC-Marvel crossover with Deadpool, Wonder Woman, and Black Adam.  

The film arrived on Netflix on November 12, a week after its theatrical debut. Despite having a poor box office record, it became Netflix’s most-watched film last week.
