After the massive success of Wednesday, other members of the Addams Family may have a chance to have their own Netflix shows.

The show explores the ins and outs of the academy brilliantly, but the fans have been vocal about their need for Addams family spin-offs.

In an interview with Vulture, Peter Friedlander, a prominent Netflix Executive, explained that the spin-offs may not just focus on the Addams family. He suggested that there are many more exciting characters to explore in that universe.

Wednesday fans are waiting for the second season, but a potential spin-off could be Netflix’s priority now. So, what could be the plots of these spin-offs?

Firstly, it will be exciting to know more about Gomez and Morticia Addams during their time at Nevermore. Although Wednesday explores their subplot well, there should be a full-length season featuring their stories and adventures in the school.

A story featuring Pugsley will also be a good choice for a spin-off plot. Pugsley has been one of the most underrated characters in the series. He started the show inside a locker and was left at the mercy of his bullies at the end.

A show featuring his backstory and how he grows without his sister’s help will be perfect for the development of the character, and the story as a whole.

Finally, the spin-off could center around the fan-favorite Uncle Fester. Actor Fred Armisen gave his all to play the character, even going as far as shaving his head to become the perfect Uncle Fester.

The only problem is that he didn’t appear as much as the fans wanted him to. A show exploring his legal issues and adventures will suit the storyline perfectly. It will also be the perfect blend of humor and intensity, as that’s what makes the character special in the first place.
