Oops… someone’s getting fired.
Netflix accidentally released the first trailer for Season 3 of Sex Education on Twitter but took it down immediately after. However, it wasn’t before some fans screen-recorded the clip.
The new season is less than two weeks away, and so far, the only ‘trailer’ we have gotten is the Moordale School video that introduced the new Headmistress Hope Haddon.
Moordale is undergoing serious renovations as one of the shots showed the iconic toilet cubicle that started it all getting demolished as Otis, Maeve, and others stand at a distance watching.
Speaking of Otis and Maeve, things seem a bit tense between the two since we last saw Isaac delete Otis’ text.
Otis and Ruby are seen holding hands, but the trailer also shows Otis and Maeve in the rain. So is the ship still sailing? Make up your minds Otis and Maeve!
On the other hand, Eric and Adam’s relationship seems to be going pretty well, as Adam is heard saying later in the clip that he wants to put in more effort.
Part of the Moordale change comes with bullying students as Adam is seen wearing a ‘shame sign’ that reads, “I’m unhygienic and put my peers at risk.” Yikes, Haddon seems a bit too strict.
Maeve disapproves of this change and thinks the new teachings are setting the students ‘backwards’ just after a teacher yells, “Sex will ruin your lives.”
Otis’ mother, Jean, is seen consulting Aimee. The last we saw Jean, she found out that she was pregnant with Jakob’s child.
The biggest change, however, is the change in tone as the lockers are repainted with a dull grey replacing the bright yellow and uniforms apparently being mandatory.
Haddon is determined to make the students know that they are ordinary and that there’s nothing special about them.
I mean, who needs education anyway?… especially if it’s under Haddon (and not in the nice way).
Sex Education Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on September 17.
