NBC’s hit game show The Wall will be coming back to television with a brand-new season and the controversial host Chris Hardwick. The fourth season will contain twenty episodes, which will air after the show finishes with its third season in the month of October. Three episodes of season three of The Wall, which premiered on March 15th, 2020, are yet to air on television.
According to the NBC schedule, these episodes will air on October 1st, October 21st and October 28th.
The appeal of the show lies in its unpredictable and high stakes gameplay. A team of two can win a maximum of 13 million dollars with proper teamwork and a little bit of luck on their side. All they need to do is answer a few trivia questions correctly. Of course, Chris Hardwick’s hosting is a cherry on top.
The fate of the show was in question when Hardwick was accused of sexual and emotional abuse by his ex-girlfriend. His show Talking Dead, an after-show of The Walking Dead, on AMC has been put on hiatus because of these allegations. NBC also said it would be looking into the allegations and would take appropriate actions based on the findings.
However, fans of the game show host will be glad to know that he is coming back in the fourth season for all twenty episodes.
The Wall season four will premiere soon on NBC. Catch up with the game show in the meantime. The first season is available to stream on Hulu and both seasons one and two are available on the NBC streaming site.
Are you excited to see Chris Hardwick back? Or do you think NBC should have picked a new host?
