Naughty Dog Confirms a Last of Us Part 2 making-of-documentary

Players were far from pleased when Naughty Dog announced their decision to scrape off The Last of Us Online multiplayer project. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Naughty Dog are a gift that keeps giving.

Soon after releasing the Last of Us Part 2 Remastered title, developers Naughty Dog announced that they would release Last of Us Part 2’s making-of documentary, “Grounded 2,” on February 2^nd.

As with any other making-of-documentary, Grounded 2 will feature the developing studio’s creative choices, some of which backfired along with the whole development process.

This includes leaks that scarred the developers, especially during the tragic COVID-19 period. This was the same time when developers were experiencing burnout from doing the same thing repeatedly.

There are mentions of “Naughty Dog Magic” that will be shown in the documentary. The documentary will be uploaded to YouTube and available as an update in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.

Along with this, the update is also rumored to contain new skins for Elie and Abby. Even though the skins have not been confirmed yet, fans are excited at the prospect of new skins.

Some speculations suggest that Ellie will finally get to don Joel’s jacket, as seen in the original Last of Us Part 2. Naughty Dog is yet to confirm the upcoming changes, updates, and DLC that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered might receive this year.
