The illustrations for the manga will be done by Yo Asami. Asami has previously drawn the art for the manga adaptation of Takaya Kagami’s Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose – Catastrophe at 16 and Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Resurrection at Nineteen light novels.

The story is about a female priest apprentice who has a rather practical approach to things and a male holy knight who has just been promoted. Together, they try to solve a murder of a shrine maiden candidate that happened in the Great Church.

Seijo ni Uso wa Tsūjinai was originally launched in May 2022 by Frontier Works under their Arian Rose imprint. Chiho Shinishi did the art for the light novels and is also credited for the original character designs for the manga.
