- ‘Shōshimin’ mystery novel series will inspire a television anime adaptation in July 2024.
- The anime will adapt the first and second volumes of the light novel series.
- Volumes 1 and 2 follow the Case of the Springtime Limited and the Case of the Summertime Limited Edition Tropical Parfait, respectively.
One in every five TV series seems to revolve around high school students. In these series, the laws of physics are optional, the hairstyles are gravity-defying, and lunch breaks seem to last longer than entire seasons.
However, the “Shōshimin Series” offers something different. Jogoro Kobato is the teenage detective in this series whose deductive skills are sharper than a freshly sharpened pencil. Alongside him is Yuki Osanai, whose perception skills are so keen that she probably knows what you had for lunch before you do.
The light novel has gained a massive following, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the anime adaptation. Now, their patience has finally paid off with the official release announcement.
