The hilarious slice of life manga, My Neighbor Seki, started its journey as a one-shot in 2010. The manga ran for a total of 10 volumes in Media Factory’s Comic Flapper magazine. It even inspired a 21 episode long TV Show and an OVA.
My Neighbor Seki is making a return with a sequel manga titled “My Neighbor Seki Junior.” The new manga will serialize in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine starting July 4.

The series revolves around Rumi Yokoi and her classmate Toshinari Seki. Most of the series is from Yokoi’s perspective as she gets involved in the shenanigans created by Seki.
Seki is a joyous and imaginative student, who is always creating exciting ways to pass the time in boring classes. You’ll see him working on a jigsaw puzzle, while the next minute, you’ll see him hosting a post office for students to pass notes to each other in class.
Sometimes Yokoi tries to sabotage Seki’s projects to make him focus more on class. But she always ends up getting involved in them somehow.
