In the final episode of My Home Hero, Tetsuo finally wins over the yakuza after Nobuto’s father, Matori, kills himself. He buries the body and returns home to Kasen and Reika, eventually leaving this dark chapter behind them.

3. Episode 12 Recap
As Martori strangles Tetsuo, they both remember their children. When Martori thinks of Nabuto, he loosens his grip, allowing Tetsuo to escape. Martori stabs himself in the stomach with a kitchen knife, admitting his failure as a father.
However, he tells Tetsuo that if he does not return, his gang will murder Tetsuo and his family. Just then, the police arrive to investigate the commotion. Tetsuo persuades them to leave while preventing Martori from speaking, and the yakuza bleeds to death.
Tetsuo cleans the apartment and places Martori’s body in the bathtub. When Kubo arrives to investigate, he finds nothing wrong and informs Takeda that Martori has left, effectively completing the narrative.
Tetsuo buries Martori’s body in the woods later that night and returns home the following day. Kasen is upset because he did not return home for supper, but Tetsuo does not explain what occurred. Despite the previous dramatic events that threatened to destroy their family, the Tosu family’s life returns to normal.

My Home Hero is a manga series by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki. It was first launched in May 2017 in the Weekly Young Magazine.
The series revolves around Tetsuo, a 47-year-old man who has never committed any crime. He has a tsundere daughter, Reika, who he loves a lot.
After Reika moves out, Tetsuo realizes that she is in an abusive relationship, and her boyfriend plans to kill her. In that instant, he decides to go against his peaceful nature to do anything to protect his family.
