My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission could not be here any sooner. With all the built-up hype till now, they have decided to give us a last tease before the release of the movie.
Even though this is the third movie in the franchise, something seems to be special about this one. All the campaigns with limited-edition manga volume, light novel, and even some foreshadowing in the latest episode point to this movie being different than the others.
They even decided to give a peek at the final showdown in the latest trailer.
The official Twitter account for My Hero Academia anime has released the final PV for the upcoming My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission movie. The movie will be released on 6th August 2021 in Japanese Theaters.
The PV begins with the main antagonist Flect Turn addressing the whole Humanize Villain Group on the Quirk Doomsday Theory.
We then get a glimpse of the terrorist attack which somehow uncontrollably magnifies quirks through the use of gas.
The new character for the movie Rody is running away from the police before being helped by Midoriya. Finally, we get to see all the students in action with a tease of the final showdown between Flect Turn and Deku.
Although the first movie of the franchise is considered to be canon, it does not contribute too much to the main story.
However, the tie-in with the latest episode and the fact that we are in the Endeavor Agency arc in the anime probably means that this movie will be more prominent in the main story.
They could not have done more to promote this movie, not that anyone is complaining. The only complaint is the dreaded wait for the release!!

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
It follows a quirkless boy Izuku Midoriya and how he backed the greatest Hero alive. Midoriya, a boy who has been admiring heroes and their ventures since the day he was born, came into this world without a quirk, where almost everybody is born with one.
On one fateful day, he meets All Might the greatest Hero of all time and discovers that he was quirkless as well. With his diligent attitude and unwavering spirit about being a hero, Midoriya manages to impress All Might. He is chosen to be the heir to the power of One for All.
