Final War Awaits! My Hero Academia Season 7 Officially Announced

The sixth season of My Hero Academia ended with a couple of surprises as we got to see two unlikely allies helping the heroes. Deku and All Might reconcile, with the latter regaining his resolve. Things seem to calm down as Deku begins to believe in his classmates.

But everybody at U.A. knows that the worst is yet to come. The upcoming season would uncover that along with their fates.

On Saturday, right after the finale episode of the sixth season, a message read at the end of the episode “To Be Continued – Season 7”. The announcement was further confirmed with a short teaser and a special illustration.

The short video shows footage of all students of Class 1-A, within a neon-outlined art of Izuku Midoriya aka Deku in his hero outfit.

In addition to that, a new cast member was also announced. Romi Park will voice the recently introduced character “Star and Stripe”, who is the no.1 pro hero of the United States.

Yoshihiko Umakoshi, the character designer drew the illustration below to celebrate the announcement of My Hero Academia Season 7.

With three story arcs left, this season is speculated to be the final season. The first two arcs are quite short and should be covered in about ten episodes. However, the final arc is quite large so this season might run for more than 25 episodes.

Every season of My Hero Academia has been full of action at one point, whether to stop the villains or in a friendly competition. The sixth season dramatically turns up the heat for the seventh season to be bombastic enough. It’s going to be crazy!

About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.

It follows a quirkless boy Izuku Midoriya and how he backed the greatest Hero alive. Midoriya, a boy who has been admiring heroes and their ventures since the day he was born, came into this world without a quirk, where almost everybody is born with one.
