Recap of Episode 14
With the end of the war, we start the episode with a flashback to before it even began. The Public Safety Commission had agreed to form a contract with Re-Destro, who had ulterior motives regarding the deal, considering the liberation of meta abilities and a truly awakened Tomura Shigaraki.
As the commission meets up with Re-Destro, it is found to be an ambush as they immediately attack him with the element of surprise. However, it does not go according to plan as the next scene is the commission severely injured and Re-Destro escaping using his quirk.
The team led by Endeavor stormed Jaku Hospital and apprehended the person who engineered the Nomus, Kyudai Garaki. However, it was discovered to be a clone made by Twice, and the heroes had to fight the Nomus, who initiated a counter-attack.
We see the fighting begin, with Mirko blasting through enemy forces and launching a Luna Arc against the vulnerable Tomura Shigaraki. However, it backfired with his awakening leading to a snowball effect, thus leading to even more tragic events.
Hawks have to kill Twice, making his escape with the help of Tsukuyomi and the fight between the hero association against Gigantomachia’s advance. They exhausted all their quirks and tried to put the giant to sleep.
Shugaraki’s awakening proved a massive turn in the tide of battle, as he single-handedly faced the strongest heroes of the association and even emerged with the upper hand. The reveal of Dabi being Toya and the entrance of Best Jeanist all proved vital to the battle.
This brings about the end of the report, but he also recalls that All For One was after One For All. The basic overview of the events was reported in the newspaper, and all the losses on both sides were also reported.
Re-Destro was also captured along with the prominent leaders of the Paranormal Liberation Front and multiple thousands of members. The capture led to arrests across the country on numerous branches of the Front.
Himiko Toga has escaped as the police struggle to evacuate the people and save those trapped in the debris. Tsuyu and Uraraka also help evacuate and protect those injured from the battle’s consequences.
Midnight won’t wake up, and Majestic is also reported dead. The people are also struggling with conflict and confusion with Toya’s reveal on television, casting doubt on the Hero Association as a whole.
All For One does not let the people rest and reconcile, however, as he begins planning to launch Nomus to attack and retrieve his actual body, which is in a high-security prison. Spinner cannot speak a word as he stares, perplexed at both Shigaraki and All For One, now incapacitated.
