Season 5 announcement in WSJ

Fans are extremely happy from this news and to make this announcement even more exciting a new My Hero Academia movie is also coming out this year.

My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes’ Mission is set to hit the theaters on August 6, 2021. Isn’t it amazing?

2. S5 Theory Section

Here I will discuss several aspects of the show, like what makes it popular, about the studio, and the visionary behind the anime.

Basically, every technicality that can accelerate/hinder the production of My Hero Academia part 5 will be discussed.

I. About the Studio

Studio Bones is responsible for animating the popular shonen My Hero Academia. It does a pretty good job, but fans were disappointed in the last season (season 4) as there was a drip in the animation.

It’s understandable, though, as half of the team were working upon the movie MHA: Heroes Rising.’ There is no change in the studio.

II. Is MHA popular?

MHA has been well received among anime fans and is appreciated a lot for its characters.

On the surface, it might seem like any other cliche shonen, but it isn’t. Many people disregard it as another series focusing on heroes and villains. But there is much more to what meets the eye.

There are a plethora of philosophical questions proposed along the journey of Deku becoming the #1 hero. Heroism is born within chaos, and society is a ramification of that.

MHA asks a lot of questions, even poking at its own protagonist and other characters. It paints a rich and complex superpowered society where there lie more questions than the answers. It’s up to the audience to try and mold it to what fits according to their perspective.

III. Author’ Health

Kohei Horikoshi is the writer, as well as the illustrator of My Hero Academia. Currently, he is working on the 270th chapter of the series.

The 33-year-old man is as calm as the flowing river. Although he does get ill from time to time, he recovers soon enough.

IV. Season 5 Production Updates

The next installment of anime is confirmed to be in production by issue 18 of Weekly Shonen Jump that released in early April 2020.

3. Key Visual

A key visual has been released for the season 5 of the anime.

The second word has been crossed out on purpose by the creators to build suspense.

4. Teaser

A teaser has also been announced.

In the video, Midoriya is saying, “A new something is awakening.”

MAJOR SPOILER: This hints to Deku’s awakening of new quirk.

5. Expected Storyline

The fifth season of the show will possibly adapt to two arcs.

The first half will be the ‘Joint Training Arc’ where students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B face against each other to hone their fighting skills and powers.

The other half might adapt the ‘Meta Liberation Army Arc’ where the League of Villains are the protagonists of the story, and the title shifts to ‘My Villain Academia.’ This is the most anticipated arc of MHA, and fans are quite electrified for this one.
