SMAAASH!! My Hero Academia returned this weekend with season four blasting fans away with Episode 0. The animation quality of this recap got fans excited for more. With a new arc right around the corner, the animated adaptation of this series will be going on a hiatus in the first week of November.
Before the launch of Episode 4, the show is going on a break, as said by SPY to fans on Twitter.
With no official word released from the My Hero Academia team, fans are curious about the length of this hiatus. With a break so close to the start, it doesn’t seem like a planned move by the team. Over the weekend, Japan was hit by a powerful typhoon followed by a tornado and flooding, all of which has left the coast in shambles. The production concerns may also be due to a volcanic eruption.
Of course, fans are upset to see a break so early in the season, but with the quality of animation of paramount importance, the hiatus may not be intolerable all things considered. With the canon from the manga, My Hero Academia’s fourth season is expected to show a very delicate arc, and it may take a bigger team to handle the work with no change in quality.
