Dabi reveals his lineage and completely flips the table on the heroes in Episode 11 of My Hero Academia, titled “Dabi’s Dance.”
Easily one of the best episodes of the season, Dabi arrives at the battlefield on Gigantomachia as he stands above Endeavor and Shoto. He doesn’t just stay standing as he dances and taunts, but more importantly confirms one of the biggest fan theories so far, and reveals his true name (and hair).
The public is in unrest as well-kept secrets are revealed to the world, and the number one hero’s image is tarnished; no one knows who to believe anymore. Was Dabi even a villain in the first place?
Episode 12 Speculation
Best Jeanist has made it just in time to stop Dabi, now Toya’s Prominence Burn. It’s unlikely he will be able to keep him for much longer, though. Endeavor, who remains stunned in disbelief, will not be having a lot of fun any longer with the public reveal of his actions.
It’s likely a large majority of the public will follow Toya’s words; creating mistrust in the heroes at this critical moment is going to be a huge unexpected turn of events. Whatever comes next will not be good news.
Bakugo, though critically injured, is definitely not out of the battle yet as he is raving to go again; Shoto will likely fight next episode as Endeavor still seems shaken from the insane reveals this episode.

Recap of Episode 11
The episode starts us off with Jeanist finally making an entrance as he speeds his way to the battlefield on the plane while still not fully recovered. Deku and Shigaraki are both critically injured as they finally finish their battle in the skies and fall back down to everyone else.
Tomura continues to try and resist All For One as he’s interrupted by the arrival of all our heroes on the battlefield, taking a blast from Hado. But not only are the heroes here, but Gigantomachia will also be too.
Meanwhile, Uraraka and Toga continue to fight; she manages to break free from her pin and throw her off. As they exchange some attacks, Toga reveals that she grabbed the All Might keychain that Uraraka got as a Christmas gift from Deku.
Uraraka decides to stop wasting time and launches Zero Satellites; not only do they clash physically, but they clash in ideologies as well. As Toga dodges and retaliates, Tsuyu reaches just in time to deflect the knives.
As footsteps get louder, Gigantomachia passes through the city at unimaginable speeds and finally reaches the main battlefield. Tomura, now immensely fragile and in an unpredictable condition, will not be allowed to regenerate as Todoroki and Nejire launch simultaneous attacks.
Machia breaks up the battle and finally makes contact with his master, Shigaraki. Bakugo, heavily injured, will not rest until a complete victory, and neither will Endeavour. Dabi taunts them from atop as Endeavour and Shoto stare in rage.
Dabi continues to laugh, washing off his hair as he reveals the beautiful white of his mother’s. Toya Todoroki faces off against his family. His mother is also up to date as the TV is rigged to broadcast his reveal.
The oldest son explains himself, the sickening acts of his father, and what has come of his desperate greed to surpass All Might, the result now standing high up in front of him, dancing with joy.
Toya would cry every day, clinging to Natsu, his younger brother. Endeavor’s choice to completely ignore him and train Shoto is what made him what he is.
He had sent Starservant and Ending, one after the other, to defame and expose Endeavor to the public. Toya taunts that the burden of not being able to get the number one spot must’ve been difficult.
Even though Endeavor managed to bag the number one spot, the past does not escape him. He tries to escape from it with public admiration and looks forward to the future instead, but it doesn’t really work like that.
He brings it all to the surface; all his mistakes of the past now stand in front of him in the form of Toya Todoroki as he invites Endeavor to hell.
Endeavor recalls the day of Toya’s death, the dust of his corpse gone with the wind and only a fragment of his jaw remaining. He had more raw talent as a child than Endeavor, with even more firepower. He entrusted all his ambitions to Toya, believing in him to take the #1 spot.
As the whole world bears witness to a DNA test proving his lineage, he reveals all of Endeavor’s past and the abuse their family received. Not only Endeavor but Hawks is also put in the spotlight.
Toya, ecstatic, jumps down in flames as he goes for an ultimate Prominence Burn.
Best Jeanist manages to make it just in time.
