My Hero Academia is quickly picking up the pace, advancing its storyline into one of the major arcs of the entire franchise:- The Shie Hassaikai Arc. So far, the fourth season of the show has been a huge hit with fans. In the latest episode, it has been revealed that Overhaul has something nasty planned to bring the Yakuza back to the top.
Episode 68, titled “Let’s Go, Gutsy Red Riot”, brings forth the Quirk Enhancing Drug. The episode kicks off with Kirishima beginning his work studies under the pro hero Fat Gum. In the pursuit of the lowlife criminal, Kirishima experiences the power of the Quirk Enhancing Drug firsthand. Fat Gum and Tamaki Amajiki take down a group of criminals. In retaliation, someone from the crowd fires a bullet at the two heroes, hoping for revenge. This is where Kirishima jumps in front of Amajiki and saves him. Kirishima then continues to chase down the shooter and after being restrained, the shooter panics and tells Kirishima what’s what.
The shooter explains how his quirk is basically useless and lets him sprout tiny razors from his body. Still, in order to fight, he takes out a vial of red fluid and injects it into his body. After writhing around, his body sprouts gigantic blades, making him a hundred times more deadly than before. The fight pushes Kirishima to such a level that he has to upgrade his Quirk to take down the enemy in an epic action sequence.
This episode builds up the power of the Quirk Enhancing Drug. If it can do so much damage from a weak quirk, the power of a villain with a strong quirk under this medication will be phenomenal, and considerable pain for the students of U.A. to handle.
