My Hero Academia’s season feature film, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, is going to be released in Japanese Theatres on 20th December 2019. With the release date just a month away, we’re now getting more information from the official website of the film. Voices behind 2 new villains, Mummy and Chimera, and information on their Quirks was recently released.
@aitaikimochi tweeted out the news with an in-short version of the breakdown. Two of the new villains, Mummy and Chimera, assumably have quirks befitting their name.
Mummy will be voiced by Toriumi Kousuke and will have the power to control anyone he catches in his bandages, on the other hand, Chimera will be expressed by Takeuchi Shunsuke and will be introduced as a villain with characteristics from various animals. As it can be in the character design, Chimera is revealed to have a wolf’s body with some sort of a reptilian tail.

The film is going to revolve around the adventures of the students of Class 1-A as they go to an island to receive specialized training. A new group of powerful villains will be accompanying Nine, a villain who has the power of Nine separate Quirks. Previously, a villain called Slice, who uses her hair to fight, has been announced. This is undoubtedly going to be a challenge for Midoriya and his classmates, making it a very interesting film for the fans to watch.
