My Hero Academia Episode 14: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Mr.Compress launches his final performance as he breaks free in episode 13 of My Hero Academia, titled “Last Stage.”

Remembering his reasons for joining the league and frustrated at his inability to do anything, he uses his quirk and determination to get free from the bounds even through severe injury to himself.

He can free Tomura and Spinner from their bounds and buys enough time for Shigaraki to come back into the business. However, he isn’t the only one who works to wake back up. Incredibly injured, Deku still manages not to give up and fights through the pain, but a futile effort.

Episode 14 Speculation

There is now significant doubt about Mr. Compress’ life and whether he is dead. Being a trickster at heart, it could be possible that he fakes us out and is shown to be alive again next episode, but the way he gave out in episode 13 is also compelling.

Deku lies helpless yet again, as Shigaraki has managed to get away and will now return much more robust than they can imagine. The plan to subdue him at this critical time has completely backfired, and the way to move on seems blurred.

Recap of Episode 13

As Endeavor uses up the last of his remaining energy and passes out, the anesthetics on Gigantomachia finally begin taking effect, as there is now some hope for the heroes remaining after all.

Compress is starting to get frustrated at his inability to do anything, despite the efforts of every other person in the league of villains; he remains incapable and tied by threads. He gets a flashback to one of the older missions.

The league of villains was barely getting by, thieving from small fry places and barely being able to scrap together enough to survive. Spinner talks about his principles, the reason that motivates him to work.

Compress, too, has his reasons to fight and cannot back down just yet and fail his duty to his bloodline. He manages to gouge out enough space for his arm to move and breaks free, unleashing the most incredible show on earth.

He busts out of his clothes using his quirk, but with significant consequences, as the wounds from it are massive and likely even fatal. Meanwhile, the two flame brothers continue exchanging blows.

Compress reveals his bloodline, the descendant of a great Robinhood thief, Oji Harima. Now wounded and severe bleeding, he gives his all to break out Spinner and Tomura.

The rest of the heroes face off against the Noumus, not without consequences, as there are losses left and right. Deku wakes up again and realizes he has been using the Fourth’s Quirk, Danger Sense.

Overloaded with the quirk’s power, he starts to lose consciousness again. Mr. Compress begins the show as Mirio tackles him instantly and ends it within seconds. But he never planned to stop them by himself anyway.

It is a noble plan to buy time and allow Shigaraki to recover. With that slight diversion, they could do something and get away, and Mr. Compress sacrifices himself for the greater sake.

Spinner puts a hand on Shigaraki’s face, reminding him of his purpose and hatred and bringing him back to normal. In a massive explosion, the person now in control is no longer revealed to be Shigaraki.

All For One has been unleashed in full possession, sending specific signals to the Noumus and summoning them closer. As Spinner asks for the next step, All For One says to withdraw and leave everyone behind, as that is the only way out now that they’re in this mess.

Tomura’s body needs to rest, it is near its limit after the endless barrage of attacks it has faced thus far. All the heroes give their all to prevent them from withdrawing, but All For One and his knowledge of quirks proves too much for them to handle.

Deku screams internally to move, and his pure tenacity gets him flying off the floor and going straight to escape All For One. But he dispels his attack and manages to escape. Humbled by the incredible number of injuries and losses, the Hero Association is living its darkest days.
