My Hero Academia Manga by Kohei Horikoshi, after the long twists and tribulations, has finally ended. The world, after the defeat of All for One and Tomura Shigaraki, is headed toward the path of peace, and our favorite characters are looking forward to a better tomorrow.
Chapter 430 of My Hero Academia signified the end of the journey. Fans don’t need to worry because, as of now, the anime still has a long way to go. The series ended on a hopeful note, but there has been much confusion regarding the ending, which we will try to explain in this blog.
The Fate of a Hero- A Future without the Quirk
It is no secret that My Hero Academia’s beloved protagonist, Deku, has lost his quirk in transferring his power to Tomura Shigaraki. Since then, fans have been worried about the green-haired hero’s future. Well, the last chapter resolved all such concerns, and the resolution is also quite wholesome.
After the leap of eight years, Deku has now become a UA teacher, teaching and guiding the new generation. He was recounting his remaining student years and reminiscing about how he finally fulfilled his dream. Even if the embers of One for All are gone, the story is yet to be finished.
Izuku, even if he’s not a Pro-Hero anymore, is leading a fruitful life right now. He’s using his experiences to lead lost ones to the right path and encourage them to dream again. He’s wonderfully fulfilling his new role as he motivates the new character, Dai, and fills him with hope.
The lives of U.A Students – A New Generation of Pro Heroes.
Earlier was about Midoriya’s conclusion, but what about his classmates or other characters? What are they doing after the leap? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that everyone is achieving remarkable feats as the new protectors of society.
Mezo Shoji is earning praise for his social work. Bakugo and Todoroki are constantly climbing the ranks of the top heroes with their hard work. Mirio Togata is the top Pro hero now, with Monoma and Honenuki as stern competitors.
As the Villain rate has gone down in society, Pro Heroes are also expanding their responsibilities outside of fighting evils. Uraraka is currently leading a vital project of ‘Quirk Counseling,’ and the team is doing regular elementary school tours.
My Hero Academia Ending- The True Meaning of a Hero
My Hero Academia has always reiterated the saying- You don’t need any special powers or defeat a great villain to be a Hero. As long as you hold your hands to those in need, that’s enough. The series has carried this spirit to the very end.
The story starts with All Might instilling hope in the young Midoriya, who is in despair. Midoriya became one of the greatest heroes by defeating the greatest foes with everyone’s courage and Support. Later, the story came full circle, with Midoriya inspiring the new generation, and this cycle will continue.
The defeat of the two greatest Villains has changed how society views heroes and evil. Now, people like the old lady are learning from their past mistakes and are coming forward to support other people. Just like Deku, as long as people reach out to others with whatever they have, everybody can be a great hero!

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
