My Hero Academia Ch404: Raw Scans and Spoilers: Bakugo Saves All Might

A familiar face returns to the battle in chapter 403 of My Hero Academia, titled “The End of an Era and… the Beginning.”

All For One destroys the bomb that All Might prepared to blow both of them up with. With no other tricks up his sleeve, the smile on All Might’s face slowly fades away. All For One has been waiting for this moment the entire fight and prepares to kill him in front of the whole world.

While the entire world watches his final moments and prays for someone to save him, a hero arrives to get his All Might card signed.

1. Chapter 404 Release Date

No, Chapter 404 of My Hero Academia is not on a break this week. The manga will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Chapter 404 Raw Scans

According to the spoilers, My Hero Academia’s Chapter 404 is titled “We love you! All Might!!” The chapter begins with a flashback to Nighteye’s “cruel death” foresight as AFO holds All Might in his arms. 

We then see the reaction of various people worldwide, watching the battle and living their lives. 

A farmer has already given up, many people are cheering, and a dog-boy named Martin says, “Man, I don’t want All Might to die…”. Meryl, the US weather reporter lady, shows up again, and her colleagues say that her video about the butterfly effect has been posted online.

Meryl is looking at the computer and says that the air current is acting weird, and a narrator says, “the wind blows strong”, showing those leaves that have been featured in some chapters. 

Bakugou looks at Deku and goes flying towards him. Deku and Bakugou hold hands and start spinning in the air like they did in Heroes Rising. 

The second user warns him that using the gear shift again will exhaust him even more, but Deku uses it on Bakugou anyway. All Might’s vestige keeps fading away.

Deku throws Bakugou, but Shigaraki’s smiling. He says that Bakugou won’t make it in time to save All Might. He knows that the All Might vestige inside One For All vanished, and a new one appeared, a more human-like one similar to the other users. We then see the new vestige.

“The death of the man who brought dreams to this world will bring the real world back”, says Shigaraki. 

But then, the wind gets even stronger, and a narration begins, talking about all the people who prayed and cheered for All Might.

It flashbacks to Nighteye’s words about how everyone’s “wishing energy” changed the future. Just like the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil which can bring about a hurricane in Texas, so can everyone’s prayers usher a divine future.

We then see a beautiful double spread, with all the characters watching the fight and praying as Bakugou flies through the air. 

He remembers the guilt he felt for being the one who ended All Might, but not this time!!!

Bakugou then explodes All For One’s arms and saves All Might!! The vestige goes back to looking like before, just a bunch of flames, as All Might says, “Young Bakugou…!”. Bakugou, bleeding from his nose and mouth, shouts, “We’ll win this!!!”

The chapter ends, and there is no break next week.

3. Chapter 404 Speculation

All Might’s death has been delayed again after All For One disabled the bomb and paralyzed him. His life is now entirely in All For One’s hands, and he can do nothing about it. However, his two students will not let this end so quickly.

I. Bakugo saves All Might

Bakugo came with his All Might card, meaning he will make Toshinori sign it at all costs. Moreover, he was technically responsible for All Might’s “death” due to his anger issues. So, Bakugo saving him now would be the ultimate redemption and end of his character arc.

II. Toshinori dies regardless

Looking at the situation realistically, All For One is in an unlosable position. He has All Might paralyzed in his arms, Bakugo is gravely injured, and Deku is in the middle of fighting Shigaraki. Although it would be an extremely dark and tragic end for All Might, it is a very realistic and probable outcome for All For One to snap him in half immediately.

4. Chapter 403 Recap

Toshinori had a very normal childhood that anybody could relate to, his earliest memories being tender and mild. Regardless, his feats speak for themselves and have always been significant. In the present, All For One disables his bomb using his drill quirk.

He grabs Toshinori by the neck, mocking his failure at getting a hero’s exit. Using Blood Curdle, he paralyzes All Might at his lowest point. With no tricks left up his sleeve, the smile fades away from his face. The X-66 Jets appear in the air and prepare their lasers at All For One.

In a single wave, All For One crashes them all down. Everyone watching the news from around the world knows what will happen. All Might is about to bite the dust. Everybody desperately tries to pray for someone to save their hero, the world cries in distress.

All For One holds Toshinori up high to show everybody what their hero has become. His body lies paralyzed and unable to move due to Stain’s Quirk. Deku is in the middle of the fight with Shigaraki but cannot take his eyes off his hero in the arms of his biggest enemy.

While screaming in distress for All Might, Deku spots a faint glow from the falling U.A. From the smoke and debris, the figure of a hero standing becomes more apparent to the world. Bakugo has returned, barely conscious and covered in ash and dust.

All Might’s end as a hero marks the finish of an era. But the lives he has influenced and the people he has saved carry on. Bakugo and Deku are two such people who will continue to carry on the light that All Might has left behind, and now they have finally reached him.
