All Might enters the battle in Chapter 396 of My Hero Academia titled ”A Quirkless Fight.”

All For One is zooming through the air toward Midoriya after defeating the massive army of heroes. Everybody has lost hope in stopping him, except the former Number 1 Hero. All Might finally makes his stand and reveal his new Armored suit.

Standing between All For One and Midoriya, All Might taunt him into fighting. He manages to counter and attack the demonic villain using his suit’s power and extensive battle experience.

Chapter 397 of My Hero Academia, titled ‘Picking Up The Trash’, begins with All Might saying that he feels bad for beating up a young man when he was over 50 years old. He then thinks to himself that All for One started to feel hatred in order to steal One For All, so he’s going to take advantage of it and keep trash-talking.

He then claims that All for One isn’t a demon lord because any ordinary guy can defeat him. All For One becomes even more enraged and combines springlike limbs, a physical boost, an air cannon, a rivet stab, a dark ball, and light dust, resulting in a massive explosion that sends All Might soaring.

All Might notes that All for One has begun to mix up quirks at random, and we see that he was shielded by his Utility cloak. He realizes that his mocking is effective and that he must continue to insult All for One.

Hercules claims that the cape and several portions of the armor’s arms have been severely damaged, but All Might requests to engage “support mode” at full capability. All for One says that All Might got it all wrong; this isn’t even a fight; he’s just taking out the garbage.

All for One is now trash-talking back, saying that the garbage has gained some confidence because he’s now dressed in a garbage bag. But all he has to do is destroy that armor because these little toys will never be enough to defeat him.

All Might remembers what he said to Deku during the cultural festival: that he had seen many pro heroes be defeated because they relied too much on support items. He also thinks back to his first meeting with Nana.

In the end, All for One states that he didn’t fall for All Might’s pathetic bait and that his victory was guaranteed, so he decided to stop and take out the garbage. The chapter ends with All Might replying that he should stop making excuses as it is getting hard to watch.

The fight between All For One and All Might continues to rage on, and it is currently shifting in All Might’s favor. Tsukauchi does not have any hope for him in the start but is slowly starting to change his mind.

This suit was specially made to fight All For One, an opponent All Might has already fought. Since he knows all his battle patterns and abilities, All Might may be the only one to beat him right now.

At the start of the battle, All Might recalls Nighteye’s warning that he would die a gruesome death if he followed this path. This may be a foreshadowing of his death to All For One. Furthermore, his death could be the critical point that angers Midoriya and makes him completely dominate the battle.

At a different part of the battlefield, All Might is considering the state of the war. Nighteye had warned him that he would eventually meet a gruesome death if he continued acting hero. Yet he still does not reconsider fighting All For One once more.

He launches many whips that inject themselves into All For One’s body and sends a lot of electricity. This interferes with his regeneration and allows All Might an opening to attack again.

His suit was specially made to counter All For One since he knows his exact fighting style and its weaknesses. Since he currently has no quirk to use, that proves advantageous against someone whose power is to steal quirks.

All Might sends a message back to Tsukauchi, who stares at the screen in awe. He tells him that Tsukauchi should know by now that he would never go into a fight with the intent to lose.
