The damage to the defense systems of the U.A. proves to be highly problematic as all the evacuation systems begin failing, and there’s no longer any hope of staying within the underground base. 

The evacuation team struggles to keep up with the chaos and get the prioritized sectors out into safety, the surface. Using the U.A. robots, they try to take everyone far away from the battlefield, but everyone’s eyes are fixed on one thing: the massive wave of fire from Dabi.

The robots were designed to take the user anywhere they desire, and Rei gets onto it and sees the huge fire coming from Toya, and she knows where to go. Natsu and his sister scream at Rei not to go as she commands the robot to take her to the epicenter of the flame.

Burning through the incredible heat, Rei uses her ice powers as much as she can to survive through it. Screaming “Toya!” she gets through to her son, who immediately recognizes her. Endeavor tries to tell her to back off, but her determination is unwavering.

While her body scorches with Toya’s fire, she apologizes to him during their final moments. Although his body is crumbling into powder, he calls out the names of all his siblings as they bare through the flames to help their brother, begging him not to cause any more trouble.

Endeavor sees everything burning before his eyes, and he only has one request to make, begging his son to let him be the only victim of his rage. He pleads to Toya not to kill anyone but the person who must take the blame for everything, Endeavor himself.
