My Hero Academia Chapter 384: Release Date, Speculation, Read Online

Mina Ashido shows the fruition of her training in chapter 383 of My Hero Academia, titled “A Small Heart.”

The attack on Machia’s detainment center causes a massive outburst leading to his escape and battle with Mt. Lady, who is brought to the verge of death if not for the release of frustration by Mina, who goes above and beyond her previous capabilities to save her friends.

Shinso finally manages to escape from the sludge and is immediately put to good use by brainwashing everyone he needs to use his quirk, but the battle with All For One will not be as simple.

1. Chapter 384 Raw Scans, Leaks

The raw scans and spoilers for chapter 384 of My Hero Academia are out. Chapter 384 is titled “It’s a Small World.”

The chapter begins with Gigantomachia attacking AFO. Tokoyami is quick to realize that Shinsou’s brainwashing is behind this. Mt. Lady is blocking the attacks aimed at Machia so that it wouldn’t nullify the quirk. AFO mocks Shinsou and attacks Machia with a shockwave to bring him back to his senses.

Gigantomachia says that he knows it’s AFO because of his smell and enquires why he was left alone in Jaku. Hawks wonders if it’s Shinsou who is making him talk. Machia says that after waiting for so long, he has realized that he was abandoned by his master.

Shinsou confirms that this is the second time someone has resisted his brainwashing (after Midoriya.) He says that it is because Machia kept talking about his anger at betrayal while being controlled. So, Shinsou just bought a little time for Machia’s own anger to grow. His quirk can’t change what’s inside people’s hearts, despite people claiming that his quirk is like that of a villain. Machia, Mt. Lady, and Dark Shadow close in for another attack.

Two familiar reporters who had previously appeared in the manga are also spotted. They want to see the outcome of the heroes fight. They have not abandoned Japan even when the rest of the world has.

Deku can be seen holding Shigaraki’s hand so that he can’t use decay. The views on Gentle’s live can increase from 7k to 20k. The chapter ends with the reporter saying she wants the world to know it’s not over yet. Rody’s siblings, Melissa, and many other familiar faces, including the US president and some international heroes, can be seen watching the fight.

The next chapter will likely continue the fight with All For One and may even have Machia turning on him, thanks to Shinso’s brainwashing. However, it is likely that All For One already has a quirk to counter it, and this may backfire for the heroes.

Deku continues to fight Shigaraki, which we have yet to see an update on, considering that we have been focused on the All For One battle for a few chapters now.

With Shinso’s surprise entrance to the battlefield, we also get to see the behind-the-scenes near the Gigantomachia detainment facility during the time of chaos at Shoto taking down Dabi being put on the news.

Floating enemies attack the facility and instantly manage to gain control and take over using their sound transmitter and the raw power their quirks contain. They brought a device to broadcast All For One’s voice and activate Machia.

Mt. Lady also arrives at the scene and does her best to remove the enemies and prevent Machia’s awakening at all costs. Since that beast represents the wounds in people’s hearts, and thus he breaks out in a huge burst, attacking Mt. Lady immediately.

They brought Shinso without anyone’s knowledge and now prepare for him to step in and brainwash Machia, but they find that the sludge villain is back and has found a new victim as a host body and is prepared to take complete control of him.

Machia breaks out in a rage as he desperately screams for his master, and with Shinso entirely out of the battle, there seems to be little to no hope. Luckily, Mina steps in with her Acidman – Alma, who manages to escape Machia’s hide.

Her training has finally come to fruition as she puts the acid into the sludge, mixing around within its body and forcing it to evacuate Shinso’s body. He tries to exit but falls for Shinso’s trap and is brainwashed immediately and captured.

Machia continues on his rampage as Shinso mimics All For One’s voice to elicit a response from him, thus putting him under his control. After which, the command to take down everyone from the air is given, and the battle is won, but the war with All For One continues.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
