My Hero Academia Chapter 378: Release Date, Speculation, Read

The heroes’ situation reaches rock bottom in chapter 377 of My Hero Academia titled, “All the Efforts until Now.”

As Kurogiri’s portal launches at Erasure’s location, taking them all out, Shigaraki’s quirk comes back, and Decay starts again. The flying U.A.’s systems have all been compromised, and Skeptic has infiltrated the underground shelter’s defenses.

The situation looks dire and hopeless, but there may still be hope in the form of a silver lining. Deku cannot catch a break, as every second counts to secure this victory for the heroes.

1. Chapter 378 Raw Scans, Leaks

The raw scans and spoilers for chapter 378 of My Hero Academia are out. The new chapter is titled ‘The Story of How We All Became Heroes Part 3’. La Brava is seen reminiscing about how she used to hack into Re-Destro’s company servers. She used to take them over with Ganriki cats . 

She does the same thing again to Skeptic, who freaks out. He then realizes that he needs to escape and turns the two most important computers into humanoids. While the system has been restored, U.A. is still failing. La Brava explains the extent of the damage and that the only way out is creating a new system which will take too much time. 

Everyone starts running as the school will fall. It is then that Gentle is seen hopping in the air on top of the ocean. Skeptic has been cornered by Hound Doog, Ms. Joke, Shindou, and Nakagame. 

Meanwhile, the Mikuzu prison is destroyed, and the villains flee while planning their next bad deed. Gentle stands in front, asking them if that is really what they want. As the prisoners attack him, he stops all of them from escaping. As a reward, Gentle only wants to meet La Brava again.

Currently, Gentle supports the weight of the entire UA structure using his Gently Super Lover. He recalls a day when he couldn’t stop a guy from falling, and he wonders if Deku is still working to keep someone’s grin safe.

At U.A., Deku remembers Tomura’s line in the last war, that not understanding each other is what makes them heroes and villains. Daigoro Banjo alerts him that Shigaraki is still moving, but as Tomurahe tries to move, a bullet rips his hand apart. Lady Nagant is spotted atop a tall building. 

In the last panel, All Might is seen secretly leaving the control tower with a suitcase.

The next chapter will likely spell a comeback for the heroes as Deku needs to make every second count against Shigaraki, whose quirk is now completely unleashed since Erasure has been taken out of commission.

La Brava has launched a counterattack against Skeptic and will be able to go against him toe-to-toe as they face off in cybernetic warfare over control of the U.A. defense systems. The battle will likely end in La Brava’s victory, as her talent is nothing to joke about.

Faced with a massive difference in numbers, the villains still managed to reign supreme and take away the heroes’ hope. We see Kurogiri’s portal open at the scene of Aizawa and Present Mic.

Aizawa immediately pieces together the severity of what has happened as Twice’s clones come pouring through the portal and outnumber everyone at the scene; Shigaraki’s body is crumbling apart even further as time passes.

The U.A. has reached its limit as the surface explodes, compromising the structure and the electric barrier. Skeptic has managed to control the systems entirely and shut down all defenses, including the monitoring isle.

Now that Erasure has also been nullified, Shigaraki has a window of opportunity to escape. The situation is dire as U.A begins falling to the ground threatening the destruction of the entire world.

As Shigaraki returns, his true conscience is also back in control of the body as he takes a jab at Deku about the mall from way back and says that there is nothing he can do to stop him anymore.

Skeptic goes crazy on the keyboard as he gains control of the entire U.A. system, including the underground shelter system. Deku fights a mental battle on what to do considering this hopeless situation.

The second One For All user talks to Deku in his head and tells him not to take it easy just yet, and that All For One’s fusion with the body is becoming even more unstable, and he’s having trouble controlling it, so he needs to move now.

Small victories lead to there being a chance of hope for the heroes after all, as La Brava has managed to launch a counterattack to Skeptic’s infiltration.
