Deku has been continuously over-exerting himself in the last few chapters of My Hero Academia. He reached his limit in chapter 318, and I hope that he comes back to his senses before something happens to him.
Endeavor himself tells Deku to give it a rest! This goes on to prove just how much Deku is pushing himself. However, Deku is not lending an ear to anything due to his exhaustion, and his body is about to give up.
In the midst of swearing to protect everyone, Deku meets Dictator, an assassin who has escaped from Tartarus. His power is to control humans and use them as puppets to do his bidding. However, his victims are fully aware of what is happening but just can’t control their bodies.
As Izuku is surrounded by the mob, his eyes lose focus, and he doesn’t attack because he can’t hurt civilians. His lack of gloves is also making him reluctant to attack.
It seems that Dictator had already known about this kind side of Izuku and had prepared the perfect human shield against him.
The powers of his vestiges that Izuku can currently use are too powerful and cannot be used in his situation. However, the power of the second vestige is not revealed yet.
In one of the panels, the second user suggests, “perhaps there is something that we could do to protect Izuku Midoriya.” Will he finally reveal his powers? Or will the vestiges come up with a plan to save Deku?
As time passes, Midoriya’s chances of getting severely injured keep increasing. His mindset will not let him harm others, and his exhaustion will stop him from protecting himself.
In this precarious situation, Bakugo shows up! Bakugo’s appearance is the ray of hope for Izuku as now it depends on him to haul out Izuku and restart his sense of survival.
It does not look like Deku will get killed so easily by the Dictator. However, his mental state is too disturbed right now and it’s impossible to know what he will do next.
My Hero Academia’s Chapter 319 is on a one-week break and will be released on 4th July. We will get to know about Izuku’s condition and the vestiges’ solution only after the manga returns from its break.
