The chapter starts by showing Rei and Enji’s wedding. From the start, Rei was aware of Enji’s reason for marrying her, but she went along with it to protect her family.

To break Toya’s will, Enji decided to have another child and pass on his dream. This had a bitter effect on Toya. The chapter ends as Toya, filled with rage, goes in to attack the newborn.

I. Prison Escapees

Shigaraki successfully broke AFO out of Tartarus in chapter 297. Alongside AFO, several other prisoners made their way out of this maximum-security prison.

With Muscular, Overhaul, and several others breaking free, it is more than likely that they will appear in front of their old nemesis again. This will result in a moment where the students of UA will be able to demonstrate just how much they have grown.

II. Damage Control

Throughout this National sweep for villains, we saw a lot of twists and turns and many nerve-racking battles. With the end of this arc right around the corner, we will start to see the Heroes performing damage control by helping citizens and providing medical aid to everyone who got injured.

It is likely that some characters like Mirko may not make it out alive due to their grave injuries.

III. A Brand New Quirk

Chapter 296 showed us Deku awakening yet another quirk passed down from his predecessors. This quirk, known as Danger Sense, is the fourth quirk to manifest inside of Deku’s body.

Undoubtedly, Deku will soon train this quirk to get it under control so that he may use it with ease. A quirk to sense incoming danger will be very helpful in judging scenarios as well as responding to incoming attacks.

Chapter 300 continues to show the drastic change in society after the recent war. The massive scale damages clubbed with multiple prison breakouts in such a short span of time have flung their society into despair. Not only this, but the confirmation of the existence of Nomu caused wide panics.

The prison escapees wreaking havoc has become a daily occurrence and reports of villains attacking civilians are coming in left and right. As the heroes already suffered mass casualties, their forces are spread thin. The people are quickly losing faith in the heroes and taking matters into their own hands. However, with no training, they are causing more harm than good with their powers.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, heroes that had signed up for this profession during times of peace are dropping out. The word ‘Hero’ is truly being put to the test.
