The chapter starts by showing Deku keeping Shigaraki floating in the air with a series of 100% smashes. While others think that Deku has an advantage over Shigaraki, Bakugo realises that Deku can’t win in a battle of endurance against someone who can regenerate.

Quickly formulating a plan, Bakugo asks Todoroki and Endeavor to join him. Bakugo flies into the air while carrying Todoroki and Endeavor. In the moment where they see some distance between Shigaraki and Deku, Endeavor activates his fire and jumps in and grabs Shigaraki.

In a dazzling flash of light, Endeavor unleashes his Prominence Burn with the intention of turning Shigaraki into ash. In this dazzling light, a hand emerges from Shigaraki’s body with the words “Let me your body.” A dark figure emerges, taking over Shigaraki’s body and calls Deku “Little brother.”

In that moment, without any thought in his mind, Katsuki Bakugo’s body moved on its own and shoved Deku, taking his place and letting multiple attacks pierce his body.
