Chapter 346 of My Hero Academia starts with Shigaraki noticing that he’s in the sky. He pays no mind to it and attacks with his decay quirk. To his surprise, it does not work, and his body is thrown up in the air.
Stong electromagnetic barriers are stopping him from wreaking havoc. Shinzo and Aizawa are also doing their best to attack him.
This is when all hell breaks loose. Shigaraki grows a thousand fingers on his body and punches Dust Bunny, almost pulverizing her. Does Aizawa have a better plan?

The raw scans of Chapter 347 are now out.
As Shigaraki flaunts his new ability, he explains why erasure does not work on it. The hands are a mutation-type quirk, similar to Shoji and Hagakure’s quirks – meaning they are a natural growth like hair and nails. Monoma assures that the quirk is still active.
Mirko survives the attack but loses her mechanical limbs. She rejoins the fight after receiving new limbs. Aizawa contacts Deku through Mandalay’s telepathy quirk and learns that Deku was pulled by Toga. Because Monoma cannot copy two quirks at once and cannot deactivate the erasure at this point, Aizawa asks Deku to reach U.A. by himself.
On Okuto Island, Gang Orca and others fight Moonfish and the Nomus at the Okuto Aquarium. Sirius asks Tsuyu about her current state.
Deku and Uraraka, now separated from the others, talk about what Aizawa told Deku. Before Deku could run, he is attacked by Toga, who requests to stay. Still wondering why Danger Sense is not working, he asks Toga what she wants from him. Toga replies that she wants Deku to be her boyfriend. Deku understands that she harms people out of love, which is why Danger Sense didn’t work.
2. Chapter 347 Discussions and Predictions
We saw some characters get the attention they deserve in this chapter, and not just Midoriya and his group. Hatsume is wowing everyone with her skills in this chapter too, but I feel there was a lack of focus on Shinzo.
Shigaraki’s got the big guns, so I doubt how great the arena will be at containing and defeating him. That infinite fingers thing crushed Dust Bunny. Did he pick her specifically for “defeat-the-enemy” purposes, or is it because he never got over her? More importantly, will she survive?
Midoriya is still God knows where. The only thing we know is that he’s with Himiko. Will Bakugo, Aizawa, and Jeanist be able to keep Shigaraki at bay without him?

Bakugou informs Jeanist that Midoriya has been dragged off somewhere else. The heroes are devastated to find this out but keep fighting. Shigaraki notices that the place where he’s been captured is in the sky.
Shigaraki doesn’t give it much thought and immediately goes forward with his decay attack but is surprised when his attack doesn’t do much. The decay on the concrete looks shallow and only stops a few centimeters from him.
Shigaraki is catapulted into the sky from the ground he was standing on. He realizes he’s been set up. The electromagnetic barrier is locking his muscles up. Jeanist tames this opportunity to bind Shigaraki.
Shigaraki points out that the ground is a precious resource to him, and the hero side is giving it away to him. Jeanist says they’ll soon be out of that resource and points to a contraption on the ground.
Jeanist tells him this arena will be his coffin in the sky. The mechanical team is seen working hard to keep the arena afloat and functioning. Momoyao and Hatsume are working together. Denki serves as the power source for the arena and its electromagnetic barrier.
Shigaraki is still hopeful at making a comeback, but Bakugo checks him. Bakugo tells him that his opponent will be Eraser Head, a.k.a Aizawa, with Shinzo. Aizawa is afraid, though, since they don’t know Midoriya’s whereabouts.
Shigaraki grows a massive thousand-fingered arm on his body to counter-attack and crushes Dust Bunny with it.
