The My Hero Academia anime recently saw Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki interning at Endeavour’s Agency. While focusing on the main trio is perfectly fine, sometimes other characters need some love too.
Unlike other shounen anime, My Hero Academia is known for its lack of filler episodes. With only three percent of fillers, the new season always started with them. The trend for this season has been somewhat new for the series.
Whatever your thoughts on fillers may be, it can sometimes enhance the main story by focusing on side characters who do not get enough screen time.
My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 16 will be an anime original episode focusing on Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Nejire’s internship at Ryukyu’s Agency.
The summary for the episode mentions a quirk-enhancing drug named “Trigger.” The drug acts as a major plot point in the series’ prequel spin-off, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. While this may be an anime original, the episode may act as a tie-in with the main story in the future.
Studio Bones has been taking some liberties this season. Their surprising decision to change the chronology of arcs did not affect fans as the events of the two arcs take place parallelly.
Given that the current arc is incomplete and the next arc covers 22 chapters of the manga, it will be very difficult to do the manga justice in the remaining 9 episodes of the season.
Fans have been somewhat too eager for the upcoming Meta Liberation Army arc which focuses on the League of Villains. Let’s just hope that this one doesn’t turn out to be a downer.

On one fateful day, he meets All Might the greatest Hero of all time and discovers that he was quirkless as well. With his diligent attitude and unwavering spirit about being a hero, Midoriya manages to impress All Might. He is chosen to be the heir to the power of One for All.
