Kuroko’s Basketball is one of those anime that you’d want to forget just so you can watch it for the first time again. The brilliant story and animation surpass anime even today, despite the show being released in 2012.
Considering how popular and loved the anime is, the franchise decided to celebrate its 10th anniversary in a special manner.
The official YouTube channel for ‘Kuroko’s Basketball’ anime has revealed a music video featuring all our favorite characters.
What makes this video special is that it contains extra anime footage that has never been released before.
Besides highlighting the protagonists, Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami, the video gives us more of their rival teams. In short, it is a video for the Generation of Miracles.
It contains candid clips of all five miracle players and Kuroko with their respective teams in different settings. Starting with the main character himself, we see Kuroko and Kagami training with the rest of Seirin High’s team.
After Seirin, we get Ryota Kise and Kaijo High fooling around in a train, followed by Shintaro Midorima giving a hard time to Shutoku High. Then we see the ace of the miracles chilling around with Too Academy’s team and Satsuki Momoi.
This is followed by Atsushi Murasakibara absentmindedly following his team, Yosen High, in a subway. Last but not least, we have Seirin’s most formidable opponent Seijuro Akashi and Rakuzan High’s team playing with some deers.
The video ends with showing individual shots and clips of the Generation of Miracles with Kuroko and Kagami.
The video’s background score is a new song, ‘Zero Step,’ by GRANRODEO, the artist who created the anime’s theme songs.
While we may not get to see more of Kuroko’s Basketball, this music video was definitely a sweet treat for fans.
About Kuroko no Basket
In the world of Kuroko no Basket (Kuroko’s Basketball), there exist five prodigies known as the Generation of Miracles who together crushed every opponent by huge margins in Junior High. Unbeknownst to others, there existed a sixth “phantom” player who played an equally important role with the Generation of Miracles. This player, Kuroko Tetsuya, joins Seirin High School and, along with his team, disturbs the record of victories that the Generation of Miracles enjoyed.
