In episode 18, titled “Separate Journeys,” Rudeus and his party made it halfway to the central continent. Roxy returned to her village to visit her parents after a long time.
Rudeus was happy that they would reach the central continent soon and continue their new journey. Roxy met with Nokopara, and he reminded her to visit her parents. She felt odd when she got to her village but met up with her parents.
Roxy apologized to her parents for running away and causing more worry than she thought. She found out from her parents that Rudeus visited and is safe. She continues with her team to look for the missing folks.

Episode 19 Discussion
Rudeus and his party continue to the central continent to see the whereabouts of his missing family. Getting to know Roxy’s past and troubles was great in this episode, and to see her finally be with her parents was wholesome.
Roxy, realizing Rudeus is safe, continues to move ahead and will meet him eventually. Will Rudues find his family and Sylphie anytime soon? What lies ahead for Roxy and her team?
The next episode will reveal how the adventures for Rudeus and Roxy will develop as they look for their missing friends. We’ll have to wait and see how the series unfolds as the episodes get released for the anime.

Episode 18 Recap
This episode starts with Rudeus and his party traveling to the central continent. While they’re sailing through the storm, Rudeus is happy Ruijerd could sail along. Mentioning his family, Rudeus thinks how Lilia, Aisha, and Sylphie are still missing.
He is being optimistic about heading to Fittoa even though they might not find anyone there. Meanwhile, Roxy talks with Nokopara about the past events when they were at the same party. He mentions how Roxy seems more mature.
She tells how she’s been on more adventures and recalls her behavior when she was trying to act mature. Yet, looking where she is now, she is happy about it. Seeing that she’s back for a visit, Nokopara asks Roxy if she visited her parents.
She replies she isn’t looking forward to going to her village. Nokopara tells her that it doesn’t matter if she can’t use telepathy, but there is only one family, and she shouldn’t have any regrets later. Roxy then visits her hometown and finds it has changed a little.
Afterward, Roxy visits her home and sees her parents. They’re happy to see her after so long and mention staying, but she finds it hard to be in the village with the telepathy block.
Roxy mentions she’ll have to leave and won’t return. Her mom tells her to visit every twenty years, but she isn’t sure and says she’ll try. With this, her mother is tearful, and happy Roxy considered it. Roxy then recalls her time in the village when she was young.
Approaching other kids, she would try and talk to them but think they were ignoring her. Due to her telepathy block, Roxy had a tough time growing up. Back then, she realized how she caused worry for her parents, so she ran away.
Roxy thought her parents would be happy if she weren’t around, but it turns out she thought wrong. Realizing the fact, Roxy gets emotional and apologizes to her parents for running away. Resting over, she wakes up and has a meal with her parents.
She mentions why she has to leave and says she needs to find her pupil who’s missing. Her father then recalls that someone who visited the village mentioned that he was Roxy’s pupil. Roxy gets shocked on hearing Rudeus visited her village and finds out about Eris and Ruijerd.
She realizes that Dead End she saw once before was Rudeus’ party. Heading back to her party, she bids farewell to her parents and mentions she’ll visit again. Meeting up with Talhand and Elinalise, Roxy keeps looking for Lilia, Aisha, and Zenith.
Continuing their journey on checking other demon cities, Roxy mentions meeting Rudeus will happen eventually, and she’s happy he’s safe.
