In episode 14, titled “No Such Thing As a Free Lunch,” Rudeus is imprisoned in Doldia village and later discovered that Gallus used his team to smuggle beast children.
Rudeus befriended Geese, another prisoner who joined later. The village got attacked by smugglers, but Rudeus saved the village from Gallus and his smugglers.
Ruijerd and Eris are reunited with Rudeus, and the Doldia villagers thank Rudeus. Yet tragedy was seen in the end with Sauros getting executed.

Episode 15 Discussion
After the events at Doldia village, Rudeus and his party will see the life that goes around in the village before continuing their journey to Milishion.
With Sauros executed, will Eris find out about her grandfather somehow? How will she react when the news is conveyed? I think the anime will reveal Eris’s grandfather to her later as they are still on a journey.
The next episode might show a back story on Fitz and continue with the journey of the ‘Dead End’ party to Milishion. We’ll have to wait and see how the series unfolds as the episodes get released for the anime.

Episode 14 Recap
Episode 14 starts with Rudeus being a prisoner in Doldia village. Rudeus decide to wait for Ruijerd and Eris to rescue him instead of breaking out.
As days pass, a new prisoner is brought in and mentions his name is Geese. Rudeus and Geese talk about how they got into this situation. Rudeus asks Geese if there’s a way to reach Zant Port, but Geese mentions he has other business than help him escape.
As they argue about escaping, Rudeus and Geese find the village on fire and safely break out. Rudeus and Geese find out the village is attacked by smugglers trying to kidnap beast children.
Rudeus decides to save the beast people from the attacks, and Geese joins him as well. Using magic, Rudeus takes out the fire with rain. A beast-man then asks Rudeus if he would like to save the beast children.
Rudeus, Geese, and the beast-man reach in time before the beast children are kidnapped. Rudeus then discovers that Gallus led the smugglers and used Rudeus and his friends to seize more beast-children.
Gallus uses a beast-child as a hostage, and Rudeus realizing that Gallus is too strong for him to deal with alone considers letting him escape until the Sacred Beast arrives to help.
Gallus charges an attack, but Rudeus predicts his movements with his devil eye. Even though Rudeus predicts Gallus’ next move, he gets stabbed in the leg. Gallus then gets attacked by the sacred beast trying to kill Rudeus.
As Gallus attempts to counter the beast, Geese throws smoke and gets Gallus defenseless. Rudeus attacks Gallus with a powerful magic beam defeating him.
Later Rudeus meets Ruijerd and Eris along with the chief beast-man. The chief beast-man thanks him for saving them once again. Ruijerd and Eris tell Rudeus how they had trouble as well after Rudeus was taken.
Rudeus and his party mention it would be a great story to tell the Boreas family. Meanwhile, Back at Fittoa, Eris’ grandfather gets blamed for the situation in the city after the Mana Surge. Sauros is executed before the king.

“Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go To Another World” is an isekai light novel series that was initially published on Shosetsuka ni Naro since November 2012 before Media Factory started publishing under its MF’s Book Imprint in January 2014.
The light novel series wreaked havoc, and it was a success; soon after, i.e., in May 2014, Media Factory started serialization in its magazine ‘Monthly Comic Flapper’. Many spin-off manga have been launched that connect with the same universe.
