Another international adventure awaits Nick and Audrey! We’re going to get to see the incredible star power couple Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, coupled with all their shenanigans once again on big screens.
While the rumors surrounding the celebrity couple signing a deal did make the rounds in August, Netflix’s TUDUM confirmed that they are returning for another exciting sequel.
During the global fan event live stream, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and David Spade joined via a zoom call and talked about going on a vacation.
Jennifer suggests they go on multiple dinners worldwide, and Adam replies that the last time they went, many innocent people died, and he doesn’t want it to happen again.
Jennifer promises no murders, which prompts Adam, who hesitantly says, “A few murders.” The actress also suggests, “Maybe more mystery,” which Adam is totally in for.

The first Murder Mystery focuses on the ordinary couple – Nick, a New York police officer, and Audrey, his wife – embarking on what seems like a vacation for their 15th anniversary.
The movie quickly turns into a classic whodunnit concept, as the couple gets framed for a murder. Now it’s up to the couple to search for clues and find the real culprit in a European nation where they know no one and no one trusts them.
The plot may sound serious, but it was anything but that. Murder Mystery’s comical yet straightforward take on the couple’s adventures set a streaming record on Netflix.
It even went on to top the list of Netflix’s most popular releases in 2019, throwing The Irishman and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse out of the park.
Murder Mystery 2 will be helmed by a new director, Jeremy Garelick of The Wedding Ringer-fame. Penned by Vanderbuilt, the script will receive a few adjustments by Garelick.
The movie will reportedly begin filming this Fall in Paris and the Caribbean.
