Warumono gives up on his fight despite being on the clock because of pandas. His love for pandas transcends his duties and the destruction of the earth. Even when he talks about the downfall of humankind, he is determined to keep pandas out of it.
Red and Warumono fight each other seriously, but they both immediately keep their roles aside in the face of children and pandas. This is an interesting dynamic as they are both enemies but have their priorities in order. We’ll see more of this strange understanding further in the story.

Warumono and Red end up at the zoo while fighting. A lost child holding a panda plushie witnesses their fight and gets scared. Red and Warumono immediately stop fighting, and Red shields the child.
Warumono gives Red directions to the lost child center while taking his leave. He backed down because of his love for pandas. After seeing one, Warumono is tempted to buy a panda plushie and goes shopping.

Rooney tells Warumono about another panda habitat, and Warumono is thrilled. However, when Warumono gets to the place, he sees no pandas. He gets a free pass and starts looking for pandas.
However, he ends up riding all types of rides, thinking it is some spartan training. Warumono does not find any pandas, but a child and his grandfather tell him there is a panda ride.
Warumono continues his search, finds a panda souvenir store, and gets scared. A helper guides him to the pandas, and he discovers panda cars, giving him immense joy. He realizes that only panda cars have black tails while real pandas don’t.
One of the pandas at the zoo reminds Warumono of Trigger. Now, every time Warumono looks at Trigger, he is reminded of the panda, making him smile.
