Mr. Mayor Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
The episode begins with Neil giving an interview regarding the city’s latest heatwave that is causing a heavy strain on the electrical grid. Arpi introduces the city’s ‘free cooling center’ initiative to the public which will be open soon. Later that day, Neil asks for Mikaela’s help to navigate online dating apps.
Mikaela immediately realizes that most of the women Neil had been speaking with were actually just bot accounts using the photos of a popular commercial actress who happened to be around Neil’s age. Neil decides to get in contact with Angelica and let her know that her photographs are being misused by catfish accounts. The two hit it off when they talk and end up going on a date together. Neil is thrilled to be dating a woman his own age.
However, he starts to get anxious when Angelica stops texting him back. Mikaela explains to him he’s coming off as over-eager in his texts and he needs to back down for a while. Neil gets confused and ends up not answering Angelica’s text and goes to her hotel room only to find out that she’s already seeing someone else.
