Moon Knight Episode 3 Recap
The episode begins with Layla acquiring a fake passport in order to travel to Cairo once she finds out that Marc is there trying to track down the scarab. Meanwhile, in Egypt, Arthur and his followers use the scarab to locate the resting site of Ammit. Marc attempts to track the dig site but he starts to experience short blackouts.
He assumes that it’s Steven resuming control of his body but Steven assures him that it’s not him and tries to get him to stop being so violent during his interrogations with the locals. One of the locals ends up sacrificing his own life to avoid giving up Ammit’s location. Marc asks Khonsu to summon the other gods for help. Khonshu tells him he can’t risk facing the wrath of the other gods because they might imprison him. Instead, he causes a celestial event that would draw their attention.
Khonshu guides Marc through a portal that leads him inside the pyramid of Giza. He meets the Avatars of the other gods there. The gods take over the bodies of each of their Avatars and warn Khonshu not to mess around again. Khonshu tries to convince the gods of Arthur’s goal to release Ammit. However, Arthur himself shows up to the meeting and discredits March and Khonshu by pointing out his identity disorder and the gods conclude the meeting.
