Modern Warfare 3 to add operators from The Walking Dead

The Call of Duty is no stranger to collaborations with iconic franchises, bringing in special-themed armors, or your favorite characters as operators. Thanks to recent rumors, there might be something in store for The Walking Dead fans pretty soon.

According to a known Call of Duty data miner, two characters– Rick Grimley and Michonne from The Walking Dead have been referenced in the code of Modern Warfare 3. Most likely, they will be introduced as operators in the action game sometime in early 2024.

Even though this has not been confirmed officially, fans are already excited about the latest crossover between these two classic franchises. Surprisingly, the dark and eerie themes from The Walking Dead fit right into the chaotic world of Call of Duty. Given how well the Zombie mode was received by the community, the upcoming collab will be one to look forward to.

Call of Duty recently released a patch update for Modern Warfare 3. It mostly dealt with weapon balance changes for ARs and SMGs. Just like other titles in the series, MW3 also receives weekly playlist updates which are aimed to add more balance to the game.

The Holger 556 assault rifle was nerfed for upper body damage. Its sprint to fire time was also increased so expect a slight delay when firing immediately after sprinting,

Developers Sledgehammer Games also added multiple bug fixes including a lighting adjustment and a previously reported exploit. As always, most of the updates are driven by valuable player feedback. Of course, Modern Warfare 3 might not be exactly perfect, but with time, it will get as close to perfection as it can.
