Developers CD Projekt Red has officially added the first modding tools to the popular RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. This addition by the devs will help the modding community revamp the game, given how buggy it is.
Arguably the most popular game of the year, Cyberpunk 2077 felt short of what was promised. Bugs took away a lot from the game. The experience a next-gen game should deliver just wasn’t there. However, the arrival of modding support might change that!
The arrival of official modding support tools in Cyberpunk 2077 will “help you modify and create your own experience” on PC. Modders will be given autonomy to improve the game any way they want.
The only downfall here is that Cyberpunk 2077 will not support mods on consoles. The game is practically unplayable on last-gen consoles. The problems PC users would have encountered playing in Night City are nothing compared to the hell console players went through!
It seems that last-gen users will have to wait for the devs to release patches now and then to make the game reach its expectations.
CD Projekt still has a long way to go when it comes to making Cyberpunk 2077 a smooth ride. The glitches, negative reviews, and even legal cases came sweeping in ever since the RPG’s release on December 10.
Till developers work day and night to roll out new patches, the modding community can get to work and add new dimensions.
Without any support so far, the modding community has already done wonders with Cyberpunk. There is a flying mod to help you feel like a superhero, a mod that makes CP2077 look like Borderlands, and a third-person mod.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
